Disppointed
This was a waste it didnt even fit in my babys nose so it didnt work!

Not even worth a couple of quid
Threw it in the bin - Instructions on the back of the product didn't match the item. Didn't do what it was supposed to, absolute rubbish! Wasn't worth the hassle of sending back for a couple of quid - Avoid!

Wouldn't let me rate with No Stars so 1 star is way too much for this.

Perfect for adult nasal irrigation
I bought this product for the purposes of nasal irrigation/lavage, and it's excellent for that purpose. The bulb holds a sufficient amount of the solution (1/4 teaspoon each of salt and bicarbonate of soda in 1 cup of warm water), and the tip fits perfectly in my nostrils, making the process a little easier and less messy. I can't comment on its effectiveness for sucking snot out of babies, but I will note that the instructions on the packaging seem to be for a slightly different item (one with a "soft, flexible tip").

Basic set
A very basic set that would be good for older children. The mirror seems very large for a baby's mouth. Other than that it seems to be good quality and my daughter has not managed to bite through it yet.

good for little hands!
This is a great product, purely for the 'nobbler' as I like to call it! It's a teething toothbrush and my son loves soothing his poorly gums on it. The toothbrush itself is too big for a baby. I would recommend a 'Mam' branded one for when those new teeth erupt. This product, however, gets the baby used to having a toothbrush and gets them used to the feel of them. A winner!

how cute!
Easy to use with a baby wriggling around in one arm. Very cute with the little magnifying glass too.

Very good clippers
I really do like these clippers, they are ergonomic which makes a difference. I cannot get on with the magnifying glass, which is meant to be a selling point, but it can be removed or folded back easily. I recommend these clippers for tiny finger nails.

Great with Tiny nails
Great product for use with the tiny fingers of a new born. The magnifier may get in the way (of your view)when using especially when the infant is moving about otherend that I will recommed this.

Very Clever!
I brought Fridge Phonics for my 3 year old niece who didn't even know what the alphabet was!

When we opened it, we immediately called it 'her abc's' and she cottoned onto that straight away.

We took out the main unit and put it straight on the fridge, then we stuck all the letters onto the fridge. We then showed her how to put the letters in by herself - they just need to sit a certain way up in the unit - very easy for small and patient hands. Then she presses the letter in and it sounds a little song 'a says a, a says a, every letter makes a sound, a says a'.

There is another button on the unit which when pressed sings the whole alphabet - it says 'zed' instead of 'zee' which is nice too!

Within a few weeks she was able to copy the song, and a few weeks later could pre-empt the sounds and started distinguishing between the different letter sounds.

I also said that my sister needed to join in with singing to give my niece the confidence in herself and as my sister spends a lot of time in the kitchen this is a perfect way for them to interact in a pleasant and educational way.

A very good buy, would recommend to anyone!

Just brilliant
I bought this when my daughter was 15 months old. I stuck it on to the fridge for her to play with due to the songs and colours, but had absolutely no expectations due to her age. How wrong was I? By 16 months she knew all the alphabet and their sounds. I didn't realise until I was sat reading with her one day and she started to point the letters out to me. To say I was amazed is an understatement. Definately recommend.

a very good buy
My daughter has enjoyed playing with this toy for the last six months - she is now 2 3/4.

She loves the toy & enjoys recognising the letters & playing with them (on their own as well as with the unit).

No miracles in reading, but she can see her own name, M for mama; D for dada and several of the other letters.

Something that takes as much repetition as learning the alphabet is strongly encouraged by a toy like this. She is now becoming interested in what words are & how to spell them.

As it sits quietly on the fridge, and is available to play with whenever we are in the kitchen, it is an educational "free lunch".

We got our unit with UPPER CASE letters. Check this out; there is an UPPER CASE expansion pack if you buy a unit with lower case letters. Ultimately, you will want both.

Ultrasound Gel
This is a gel which helps with a ultrasound machine and does so well. I don't think there is much difference in gel's so I would buy which every is cheapest. Just to note, and I don't know why, all ultrasound gels seem to be very cold. I found this funny when helping my wife and listening to my baby's heart beat.

Does what it's supposed to
We used this gel with the AngelSounds heartbeat fetal doppler and it works well. Comes in a two pack and it's plenty to get you through fairly frequent use.

Discreet, consistent and accurate
BACK STORY
With new twin boys in the house we discovered that our existing old-school-style thermometer (a tube containing liquid glued along a scale) was showing completely the wrong temperature. The ideal temperature for babies, seemingly is around 18 deg Celsius (about 64.4 deg F). It turns out that the thermometer had fallen apart years ago and had simply been glued back together by some idiot (me!), but in the wrong place. So we needed a new one. Or two.

I read a number of favourable reviews for this model and so ordered two: one for the boys' bedroom and the other for the living room.

CONSISTENT
When they arrived they proved to be simple to set up (make sure the battery is seated correctly by removing the protective plastic strip) and then I sat them side-by-side for a few hours to see how consistent they were -- I expected them to display roughly the same temperature.

A few hours later and they were pretty spot on. At best they were displaying exactly the same reading. At worst they were about 0.1 degree out. I could live with that.

ACCURACY
We've not been able to carry out any kind of scientific tests to check its accuracy, but as a rough guide the built-in thermometer on the baby monitor displays roughly the same temperature (give or take a degree or two), but as it's on the other side of the room from this one I'd expect different areas of the room to register different readings.

NIGHT LIGHT
A small button on the side, which needs little more than pressing your finger very gently on it -- almost swiping your finger across it, displays a blue night-light for about 5 seconds or so.

When the light is on there is a very faint buzz, which I'd expect from something at this price, but it's certainly not loud enough to disturb the children.

CONCLUSION
I'd certainly recommend these thermometers to anyone. They are small, discreet, accurate, consistent and have proved to be a real asset and provide piece of mind.

Nice, accurate and well designed.
This was a nice little product, with a good feature set. The thermometer appears quite accurate, as does the hygrometer.
The light is nicely worked out (by a simple touch). All in all, it does all you could ask from this kind of product. I like it.

An excellent little gadget
I bought two as I suspected they would give different readings (as thermometers often due). I was wrong - they both give virtually the same readings although they did need the best part of an hour after "opening the box" to settle down. Definitely recommended and I am buying two more for different rooms in the house.
