Less painful than I expected!

I'd never used an epilator before but having been a convert to waxing for some years now I thought I'd give this a go to see how it compared in the pain stakes.

I was pleasantly surprised. If you've only ever shaved before and have never had your legs waxed it may seem a lot more painful, but compared to waxing I actually found it surprisingly pain free to epilate my lower legs with this.

It Does work.

I can only attest to this working second hand, but it does work and does what it is supposed to, although from the sounds coming from the bathroom it is not completely painless!

Eczema releif
After trying numerous creams on my 5 month old baby's Eczema I started to use Aveeno.
The great thing about it is that unlike other pharmacutical creams, that just act as barriers,

The best aid for breast feeding
This is a great little device that has helped us to express breast milk in an easy and pain-free manner - it's far better than a standard breast pump, even though that's not meant to be its primary function. The product is well made and has shown no signs of damage despite going through the steriliser numerous times per day for over a month. I can't recommend this item highly enough.

OK But way smaller in real life
I ordered this for my wife for Christmas as a treat, it arrived in plenty of time (though it was wrapped the gift tag I ordered wasn't there) but when I opened it I was amazed at how small it is.

3 tubs of cream which are only 60ml, I imagine it will be gone after one use.

My fault I suppose but for £26 I was expecting more....I'm sure she'll like it though

Mr Bump Soother - great on bruises
Our son age 3 always asks for this when he bumps himself and finds it a great comfort. Even if it does hurt we tell him Mr Bump will make it better and he forgets all about the pain. Also great for burns as we found out today when he burnt himself. We keep ours in the fridge so it is easily accessible. His playgroup also have one which is where we got the idea from to get one as he kept asking for Mr Bump at home when we didn't have one. We also have one at each set of Granparents houses so he recognises it as a comfort and stability.

I was rooked
The item was fine but as I ordered two I was appalled to discover that I paid for the postage TWICE ~ even though it came in the same package and was extremely light. I therefore paid over twice as much for the item than I would have paid had I purchased it from a shop.
Amazon you have rooked me.

Great Thermometer
I brought this particular thermometer as my son suffers from alot of bad ear infections so i wanted something that was completley non-intrusive yet accurate at the same time. It is a great design, not having to even touch the skin. It is ideal for taking temperatures when children are asleep yet when they are awake the 'traffic light system' is a great way of involving them and taking their mind off the task in hand! The thermometer is really easy to use and I would strongly recommend it to other parents.

Excellent results, bit fiddly though...
I have given this product four stars and not five simply because it's a bit fiddly and takes a bit of practice before you get accurate results. I knew the first couple of results that I got were incorrect (I checked with another thermometer) so persevered and after first thinking that a strip forehead thermometer was far less hassle and a lot easier to use, once I had practiced a bit, I got the hang of it and am really pleased with it now. Though I do think I will 'practice' again when I need to actually take my son's temperature for real.
It has a large, easy read, display that not only indicates the temperature in either C or F, it also lights up green, amber or red to alert you to a fever - it also beeps if fever is detected.
Expensive but I'm liking it...

Excellent Baby Monitor

I love this monitor. It comes with a travel case, which is very useful for us as we do alot of travelling. The only draw back is that the mobile unit battery doesn't last for that long. Other than that, I love it.
